    Bogus CD

By David  Jul 30, 2002 | 1 out of 1 found this Five O'Clock World review helpful

Things in the music world have sunk to a new low. The picture on this CD IS of the original Vogues. The songs are NOT by them, with the exception of ONE of them. I don't care what loophole there is in the law to allow such a misrepresentation, but... folks, this is WRONG. Don't waste your money on this CD, and note the record company and marketer. They likely do this kind of thing all the time. Read more Less

    Dont Ever Buy This CD.

    By Dave K  May 1, 2003

I bought this cd a year ago believing it was the original V*gues since their picture was on the front cover. As a V*gues supporting fan for many years now, I actually threw up as soon as I heard the awful sound of this bogus group whoever it is once ...I hit play. Its listed here as being on the Collectibles label but its actually on the Park South label and along with Their Finest Performances cd on Sun records both have the exact same song listings. Its not our original recording years V*gues. When I personally showed this Five OClock World cd to original V*gues Tenor Chuck Blasko at a show he did in Twin Lakes Park in Greensburg PA, Chuck was very upset with it. Again never spend your hard earned money on this cd. Read more Less
