    Hurricane Fails to Perform... BIGTIME!

By go.apeshit  Dec 6, 2007 | 1 out of 1 found this Fisher-Price Power Wheels Jeep Hurricane review helpful

    Pros: It's big..

Cons: It's really expensive, and it falls apart quick!

We bought my son the Fire Jeep a couple of years ago at Toys R Us. We still have that little jeep now, and the only thing wrong with it is that the little roll bars finally came unattached. No biggie. I saw this one last year, and had to get it for ...the baby for Christmas. Over 400.00 with taxes and all on this one. Christmas morning, the gear shift broke off with a simple kick of the foot as he climbed in it (there are no opening doors, you have to climb in to get in). Next it was the fender wells on this jeep. They stick way out, and when kids ride this, they catch everything and they break. We have had this not yet one year. I cannot get any response from the company as far as a warranty. This is advertised as ultimate terrain... well, it's not. That little fire jeep held up better at $250.00 than this rip-off did at $400.00. The tires are .... from riding in the grass and light gravel, and concrete, flat on half of them, and as he drives it now, they make the whole jeep jump up about 4" every time they turn a full revolution. This is a terrible waste of your money. DON"T BUY IT!!! You will be sorry if you've got a boy, unless you just let him ride it in a wide open field where he won't bump it, and put him in and take him back out again, because all of the interiors fall apart and brake off. My baby has learned to shift the gears from reverse to forward with his finger. AWFUL! Fisher Price, SHAME ON YOU! Read more Less
