The movie was realistic in the sense that the animation was excellent. The story line was also excellent. It leaves the viewer something to think about. The characters were great!

This movie was the best movie of all time .It really brought animation to a different level altogether .The producers and writers did a awesome job with tying in the characters and the story line ...EXCELLENT JOB..

Cons: The Barracuda Attack Is Tough For Kids To Handle

Finding Nemo came along at a time when American audiences needed something new and original. Disney and Pixar provided just that with this movie. The storyline of the father's relationship with his son is very relatable. Young kids always ahve a ...hard time getting along with adults, but still love their parents regardless, as do parents with their kids. This storyline is what sets Finding Nemo apart from all of Disney's past movies. There are no romance subplots in the movie. The only hard part to digest was the barracuda attack that really sets up the movie's plot. It is difficult for kids to take in. even the director admitted this. But the sound quality and graphics, along with Dory's comic relief adds to the movie. For those that havne't seen it yet, Finding Nemo will find the harts of audiences of all ages. Read more Less

An instant classic. I'll never forget the first time I saw the theatrical trailer on the "Monsters Inc" DVD. I had already fell in love with it. The best part in the movie is when Dori speaks "whale". But it's even funnier... when she speaks it in French. The 5.1 surround sound is absolutely stupendous. Very funny, yet emotional.
