Pros: Stimulating,Energizing Music Of Diverse Character

    Cons: None

It was only today that I realized what a great album this is!In 1985 Stanley Clarke was on the heels of the wonderful 'Time Exposure' album.'Find Out!' is quite alot different.Where pop considerations were secondary to Clarke beforeha...nd they defined this album. In fact "What If I Should Fall In Love" and "The Skies The Limit" are downright radio friendly pop/rock-not fusion at all.But Stanly throws it all in-the title cut and the peppy "Campo Americano" have that jazzy slap bass plucking through and through and his classy composition.Although if your looking for ballads you won't find one here-you can dance to everything on this CD.There are two political songs here-one being "Don't Turn The Lights Out" which focuses on differences in ideology.Similar in theme is his funny tongue in cheek version of "Born In The USA"-no mistake of sentiment here:this hip-hop version is clearly a smug diatribe in Springteen's actual spirit! On the flip side "Sterotypica" and "Psychedlic" rock out-plain in simple in classic Hendrix/Santana style!"My Life" though ends in quintessencial Clarke 'School Days' style with that bass leading the way.Too bad this CD is out of print in the US.It's one of his finest of the decade and his best vocal performance too, which is saying alot because he was never the worlds greatest singer. But here Stanley Clarke stands and delivers!
