Pros: good sound on most of the songs

Cons: still hearing that same teen pop music we get from Lindsay and Hilary

We've all heard the sad love songs from pop teen artist such as Lindsay Lohan, Hilary Duff, and Vanessa Hudgens. But unlike many of them Brie Larson gives a slightly fresh sound and good lyrics on her first album Finally Out Of P.E. The songs on the album range from talking about getting over an old boyfriend to not being able to get your crush's attention. The best song on the album would have to be either "Whatever" or "Ugly". In "Ugly" the song is about feeling insecure about yourself and trying to feel as happy as your other peers do. It is one of the better ballads on the album. The song "Whatever" has an R&B sound to it making it easy to want to dance around the room to it. And besides the fact that the songs on Brie's album are all about real teenage drama she writes her own lyrics, making easier to identify with what she's writing about. All in all I would say that I enjoyed the album and I can't wait for her sophmore album to come out. Hopefully I'll get to hear more of her insipirational lyrics later on.
