    I Love Europe!!

    Pros: Everything!

    Cons: None

    The song "The Final Countdown" was the song that got me started on Europe. Then I heard Carrie, and instantly wanted to get a CD. Well guess what. They don't seel it at ANY stores. It's only availble from overseas (unless of course ...you buy it here0. I was upset, but then I just downloaded it and wow was I amazed! "The Final Countdown" and "Carrie" are still my favorites, but the other ones are almost as good!! I love them all! And, there are bonus LIVE tracks at the end for my 2 favorites, plus "Danger on the Track!" Awsome stuff for a beginners Europe fan! Read more Less

    Europe's major label debut turned out to be a big smash for the band as well as its most successful. From the opening title cut, to "Rock the Night", and the lovely ballad, "Carrie", the album flows well and every song is a keeper. No filler here. En...listing former Journey producer Kevin Elson(a smart move), the album is produced very well and captures an almost live vibe to it.Joey Tempest's operatic vocals shine and the rest of the band support him nicely.This is vintage 80's pop/metal. And taken for the times, its a real winner! Read more Less

    I dont know entire album of `Final Countdown`
    but i can say main title `Final Countdown`is
    a very nice soung, a great hit from this group.
    A big hit who always remember me the final
    countdown to 2000. :o)

    Hey! I like "Rock the Night" and "The Final Countdown too. Your Rotten, Filfthy bands like Crematory, Cradle of Filth, and Primus never made it to the top to become blockbuster stars and not heavy metal you fool!     I totally agree with the other reviews, in that this is a CLASSIC album!!! Europe was one of the best parts of the 80's !!! Also, one of their songs is my name :-)

    Final Countdown Is the Greatest Song

    What kind of moron would give this album a one? What the hell, and you call Europe homoerotic. Freaking idiot.Anyway, back to the music. This is one of the greatest albums every. "Final Countdown" is my favorite song. It's just so freakin' aweso...me. The vocals, the lyrics, everything. "Carrier", "Rock the Night", "Ninja", "Cherokee", hell, every SONG on this album is pretty good.Not to mention the cover totally rules. Read more Less

    Every song in this album is perfect !!!
    The incredible title track , Carrie (very beautiful with a great guitar solo) and Cherokee were radio hits,If you like them tou sure love all the other songs.

    One of the best albuns of the 80's.
