    Pros: Finally, best since Mike Tyson's Punchout (1987)

    Cons: No Tommy Hearns, Marvelous Marvin Hagler, Larry Holmes

    This is the best boxing game in a long time. It is like controlling a boxer from the corner, telling him "shoot the left hook!!...too late!!". This will be to video boxing what John Madden Football is to video football. Yes there are som...e flaws, but can be easily overlooked. You can match fighters across eras and weight class. They have certain prominent fighters at several weight classes (Roy Jones, James Toney, Evander Holyfield) and some of the all time greats (Sugar Ray Robinson and Muhammad Ali).The controls are a little awkward, as you control the left and right hand with the right joy stick, but the game gives you a training camp to work out the kinks Read more Less

    In a strange move, the developers decided to toss in a rag doll physics system only during a knockdown. The effect is a little unsettling as punch a guy nine times in a row, and then on the tenth he suddenly loses complete control of every limb and turns into a lifeless corpse that falls to the ground.
