Tecmo's survival horror adventure Fatal Frame puts players in the role of Miku, a young woman seeking an explanation for the strange disappearance of her brother. Based on a true story, the game is set at the Himura mansion, an old house with a deep history, thought by most to be haunted. An eager journalist, Miku's brother, has gone to the mansion to investigate strange deaths said to have occurred there in times past. After a disturbing premonition in which she sees her brother captured and tortured inside, Miku decides to enter the mansion herself, armed only with a small flashlight, an old camera, and her own wit.
