    "da punks" probably won't like this because it isn't hardcore enough for em. at the same time it's hardly 'emo' either, it merges rock, pop-punk, country, and a variety of other styles, but the lyrics read like poetry and the music is beautifully con...structed. passionate, heartfelt, this is an amazing album.     The Weakerthans album, "Fallow" is simply amazing. All of these songs aregreat. The lyrics are incredibly honest and straight forward. they deal with such topics as suicide, and the fear of growing up. the music is also excellent. this album is defi...nitly not standard punk rock it is something much deeper, much better than punk. If you are at all interested in folk, punk, and good old rock, or if you just love songs with incredible lyrics check out the weakerthans album "Fallow". Read more Less
