Sydney, Australia's Falling Joys are a vehicle for singer/songwriter Suzie Higgie, whose bandmates provide treatments of her sweetly melodic compositions ranging from jangling to ethereal to hard-rocking. The Falling Joys' first full-length album, Wish List, appeared in 1990 on Australia's Volition label; it was followed in 1992 by Psychohum and in 1993 by Aerial.
