    Pros: great story, people of faith shown as struggling, but still as real people (not kooky),good football action

    Cons: acting is a tad cheesy at times

    Just go buy this movie right now. I mean it. Stop what you are doing and go buy this movie. It is an awesome family movie that shows real people of faith in real struggles in their lives. Usually Christians are made out to be weirdos or wackos in th...e movies, but not here. Christianity is portrayed positively and realistically. The football action is great, as are some of the sub stories. My only concern is that it could have a "name it and claim it" connotation, that if we obey God all good things come our way. There are many genuine Christians that are martyred and persecuted everyday; their lives aren't all roses even though they obey God with their all their heart. Be that is it may, if you just want a great family movie to enjoy, this is it!! Read more Less

    Gods Power and Provision

    Facing the Giants is an incredible movie that demonstrates the power and provision of God for those who are faithful to trust and follow Him. It adds in the excitement of football and the lives of some incredible teens led by their coach and the stru...ggles, defeats, and victories. It is a must see movie for everyone. Read more Less

    Great Family Movie!

    Pros: Inspirational, family-friendly, funny, heartwarming! Community produced by real people!

    Cons: Made on $100,000 budget by nonprofessionals

    I loved this movie! The message was that God should receive praise whether we win or lose and that even playing sports is more about being a good person than simply winning. Wonderful inspirational film with some truly heartwrenching moments of emoti...on-filled acting that seemed more real to me than anything out of Hollywood for a long time! And some truly "blurt-out laughing" scenes that were genuinely funny in such a natural way! Watched this three times in three days! Going to buy the site license and show in my community as soon as I can! Watch this film with your kids and neighbors. Read more Less
