The best rock band
Let's just face it..Godsmack is the best rock band. They sound great on their cd's and great live. This is one of their best since Voodoo. I haven't found a song I didn't like

An outstanding album from Godsmack one of the best hard rock bands out there in this era of f--ked up artists. I can relate to all the songs on this album and it's truly an amazing record. My favorite songs are 're-align' and 'releasing the demons'....awesome f--king kick @$$ songs!!!!!!!!!!!

This is without a doubt the greatest rock album of the year if not in the past 2 decades! This is the type of rock I've been searching for all my life and I just can't get enough of this cd. Metallica did a good job but this cd still just blows them and everyone else out of the water esp. with their new drummer, Shannon Larkin blowing away his drum set as seen in the "Straight Out of Line" video.

Faceless is a stunning and hard album. The best thus far from these guys. From the first time I've heard these guys, I think they are rising to superstardom. The vocals are great, lyrics outstanding, and the music rocks with power and substenance. Godsmack blows away some of the best out there today, especially Metallica and similar older groups.

ummm... this is a great album and all, the great lyrics, awesome sound, etc. But this album is diffrent . With a new drummer I would have to say this album has great changes and some .... bad changes. Don't get me wrong I think this album is great, its just that....First of all, sully's musical/raging voice (sometimes to me on some of the songs he wails in too much a high voice) to me has gotten a bit tarnished. Second, some of the songs I thought was too diffrent. I don't want their style to be repetetive, but I sort of liked their older style a bit more, but experimenting with music has its benefits. All in all, a great album. A must get for us godsmack fans.

Anyone looking for a great hard rock album to add to their collection, needs to get this one. As any Godsmack knows we count on them to give us a album full of great guitar riffs, kickin' drum beats, and Sully's excellent screamin and slammin lyrics, this new cd delivers!!!! All you Godsmack fans out there, this is a MUST HAVE!!! For anyone who isn't yet a fan, now is the time to get "smacked" , you won't regret it. Sure to be the best HARD ROCK cd this year!!!

Faceless is Godsmacks best work yet. Every song on this album is amazing, beautiful to listen to. Godsmack has proven in this album that they have grown lyrically, melodically, and instrumentally while keeping their hard rock edge which makes them who they are. I highly recommend this album to all the Godsmack fans that have not yet purchased it and to anyone who loves Rock music. This album is the best!!!! Their is a song on this album for everyone. Godsmack will no longer be Faceless after this album. ROCK on!

Godsmack has done it yet again, with the release of their third album faceless on April 8th, they have again made it to #1 on the charts. With their smash hit Straight Out Of Line and its music video playing on MTV, MTV2, and FUSE, the band is getting stronger and stronger. Faceless is an acquired collection of style between their first two albums, Godsmack and awake. the difference is that no song sounds the same. hell not one single song written and played by the band is repetetive nor anywhere the same. For example - on faceless there is a major difference between I Am and Releasing The Demons. Mainly from the drum beats, played by Sully, back up the band with a powerfully hard and intense sound to better send crowds at shows into frenzy mosh pits and insane sessions of crowd surfing. Also included is that the band, mainly their singer gets the crowd involved. At Woodstock 99, he got the crowd of thousands into it by yelling show me your f*ckin hands! or are you partyin with me on this side! and even noted in the middle of their hit moon baby that the pit may get a little crazy right about now. anyone that does not want to participate might want to move to the side. with a sound that will not ever be able to be replicated, and a sound that will never be forgotten - I give godsmacks new album faceless a 5 star rating all across the board.

When I got my album the day it came out I loved it right off the bat. It hasnt left my cd players since. I think the new Godsmack album is a good listen. Its classic Godsmack. I love the lyrics and the sounds. I Stand Alone is one of my favorite tracks off the album not just b/c it was used for the movie - The Scorpin King but because of its unique style and sound. All of the tracks on the album are something that every Godsmack fan should listen to and even those who arent Godsmack fans. Donnt get me wrong. It is a album that you should go and pick up.

Well, Ive been a fan of them for five years, and let me say, this is one of the best works. I think this album has more hard and aggresive riffs than the previous ones. They continue making great music and albums. If youre reading this, go to the store and buy, because it wont disappoint.
