Users found this Experience Hendrix: The Best of Jimi Hendrix (Remastered) review helpful A lot of compilations were put together for this one man. Some had a great selection, others failed for their inconsistency. However, what we have here is a best-of CD that sounds more than promising. Indeed, not only do we find the foremost hits (ie, Hey Joe, Purple Haze) but a wide selection of the classic tunes as well. This CD contains tracks that first appeared on the rare Cry of Love --ie, Nightbird Flying, Freedom, and Angel. Moreover, also included is Woodstock's "Star Spangled Banner" and the obscure "Dolly Dagger." A wide array of gems to make a Hendrix fan happy. ... -
