Pros: Captured both gore,horror,and comedy
Cons: Gets a little cheesy sometimes,but that actually makes it better
This could be the best overall horror movie ever made.It's not all that scary,although at times it can be,but it is hilarious all the way through.As you watch it you can just tell that you're watching an all time classic.This movie is what 80s horror movies are all about.

this film is so low-budget, cheesy, gross, and funny, that it is a classic. The flaws are what makes this film so enjoyable to watch. Bruce Campbell is the ultimate B-movie actor.

Evil Dead 2 dead by dawn is too cool. With great gags and excellent effects it truely is the ultimate experience in grueling terror. Bruce is not only a perfect hero for this but he was also the best stuntman for himself. I think this film is a Sci-Fi masterpiece. Need a good scare and laugh check out Evil Dead 2 Dead by Dawn.

What can be said about a classic?
This is a horror movie for horror movie lovers, those that usually end up getting a good laugh rather than a scare. I truly can't remember the last time i was actually frightened watching a horror movie, but when a film can entertain like this one... it's a keeper. The whole scenery is extraordinary, set in its backwoods spooky beauty, and director Sam Raimi's point of view filmaking is truly one of a kind. Unlike the first Evil Dead, this film goes isn't afraid to go well beyond the genre's barriers dashing boldly into an almost slapstick style Three Stooges mindframe.
Yet it looses no dignity as a horror film, staying true to it's title and unleashing a relentless stream of great looking demons and undead on the world's most abused hero "Ash". Of course, the reason why Ash would venture back to the cabin after his horrific experiences in the first Evil Dead is never explained, making this film almost less of a sequel and more of a remake of a classic. Sam Raimi is indeed a genius and Bruce Campbell takes control of the big screen and knows what he's doing.
Overall this is one of my all time favorite horror flicks, and Iv'e seen em all. I often wish other film makers would learn from this superb example of how one should be done.

This movie doesn't seem like it's a comedy but it really is. Some of the stuff that happens is just funny. Like when the girl tries to get away from a zombie (or whatever the main character was)and she carries this man and keeps slamming the door on him.It isn't really scary but it is still a great movie.I didn't get a few parts and thought some were cheap but it was an awesome movie other than that.

Let me just say that I enjoyed the first Evil Dead but then part II came along and just blew me away. It is a really good horror movie and Bruce Campbell plays Ash superbly. Now, I was dissapointed with Army Of Darkness (Evil Dead III) but oh well,the movie is done and made. I wish that they would give us a part 4 but I don't think that's going to happen anytime soon. But anyway, I have to go.

Exactly, what can I say except that it's better then Evil Dead 1. I mean, what was up with that? Not to diss anyone, I mean it was their first project (I think) but I can't complain. Hell, I can't do any better.

Evil Dead 2 is the best campy horror film ever made. It's a non-stop roller coaster ride from beginning to end. Lots to low budget effects make this movie work. Lots of scary and funny content, which keeps this film a nail biter. Follow this with Army of Darkness, the NEXT in the series.
