    Dave's worst

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Sep 21, 2003

This is DMB's worst cd. A few songs are good, but I just can't stand the electric guitar in every song. Mix it up a little.

This band fucking sucks ass! All you queers that listen to this band don't know jack shit about good music! There are better bands than this faggoty band such as Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, Aerosmith, AC/DC, Thin Lizzy, Hawkwind, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, Peter Frampton, Ted Nugent, Steppenwolf, Foreigner, Boston, Misfits, Van Halen, Jimi Hendrix, Ozzy Osbourne, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Motorhead, The Eagles, Cinderella, W.A.S.P., Slayer, Queensryche, Queen, Rush, Jeff Beck, Joe Satriani, Bruce Springsteen, Twisted Sister, Motley Crue, Metallica, Soul Aslyum, Faith No More, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sepultura, Poison, Iced Earth, Pantera, Cannibal Corpse, Suffocation, Obituary, Deicide, Testament, Guns 'N' Roses, Napalm Death, Helloween, Exodus, Dream Theater, Venom, etc., I could go on, and on, but obviously, you queers will just listen to homo music, so at this point, I will stop.

    Predictable and Sappy.

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Jun 17, 2002

Dmb is a great band, but you'll let me down on this next album, their songs have started to become boring and repetitive, and almost turned into sellouts, if you want real dave matthews band cd's check out crash, out of all of dave's stuff this is the worst
I Only gave this cd two stars, because of the sound, but otherwise it's just too sappy.

    Dave Matthews Band..LIKE NO OTHER

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Dec 15, 2001

Can anyone name one band that is anything like Dave Matthews Band? Don't say Phish, or Widespread Panic, or any band like that, because, jam bands are everywhere, but there are none like DMB. Take bands like 'Green Day, or 'Nickleback', or 'Blink 182', or 'No Doubt', bands like that, they all fit into one category "Pop-Rock". What category does Dave fit into? Rock? NOPE. Pop? NOPE. Who knows? Dave has his own category for his own music. But anyway, This album is a triumph. Sure, it's different from any other album they have made, but either way, it's still DMB. Lillywhite has a lot of competetion with Everyday, but they don't even compare, but I think we will see a little Lillywhite come up on there new album, being recorded 2002.

Idiot off of the review board that is visible for everyone to see. Get out of the woodshed in your backyard, behind your broke down truck with three wheels, with your cousin (I mean mom)and sister there to keep your family (I mean ignorance) tree alive and growing. Wake up and smell the aroma of life that brews so effortlessly in your poor glimpse of heaven in which you call life. This album kicks butt, but could only be expected since being put together by one of the tightest jam bands around in a good long while.

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Nov 21, 2001

but thats a good thing, considering their awesome cds in the past. Dave heads off in a new direction with this one. I am still not sure if I like it or not, but with my bootleg copy of the lillywhite sessions i am overall happy with the cd

not as creative, but still real good

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Nov 15, 2001

This album is a little different than his other albums. You don't hear as much viloin playing and sax playing. It is all there, but kind of blended all together. While Dave's other albums are brilliant and never get old, this album is still great honestly. It is solid besides the first and last song and has a lot of great songs. This isn't as good as the last two of Dave's albums, but it is still really good. His last two albums were just unbelievable. I definely recommend buying this album. It is another winner from Dave.

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Nov 13, 2001

Being a huge Dave fan, I was really dissapointed in this album, hell i sat down for almost all the songs off of this album at the concert I saw over the summer. Glenn Ballard is a horrible!!!!! producer who just is interested in money and not in the talent the band he's working with can put forward. Dave, you could have done better (buy any other album before this one)

    DMB is awsome. but...
I got beef to pick with this release.
no offense to dave but the electric is not him, i understand his wanting to experiment and frankly i praise him for going out on a limb, but i hope he relizes his mistake and this does not become the standard.

i give it one star for dave and another for the experiment

dave matthews is a pajama pants wearing, drunken fool who relies on long, dreadfully boring jams. how he is so popular boggles my mind.

This album marks the moment when Dave Matthews sold out and started the plunge downhill. He will never be taken seriously again. It's over. It happens to a lot of groups.

    Poor

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Oct 9, 2001

This album never should have been made, period. DMB has attracted its fan base from their music, word of mouth and touring. Long jams, sax solos, longer songs. This album is nothing more than a pop Top 40 Countdown album which strays from what the DMB was all about, the music. Are the songs good? Sure, they're ok, but this album is nothing like Crash, Under the Table or the live Red Rocks. Songs are shorter, less continuous jams and not in my opinion what made me really love this band. I dont know about anyone else but isnt that what separated DMB from every other artist out there? Better luck next time. Dave, leave your "demons" at the door, stick with Lillywhite and put something together that all DMB fans can appreciate and respect. Seattle sucks too, move back to Charlottesville.

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Oct 5, 2001

I dont get it. I've heard of so many DMB fans dissapointed in this album but I love it. Well I guess the reason why is that Dave's sound has changed a little right? Sorry I'm not really sure cause I've been a DMB fan for about 2 years or so and I really likem now cause of EVeryday.

I like all the songs but here are a few of my favorite tracks:
    Space Between
    Fool To Think
    Everyday
    I Did It
    Mother Father

Get This CD Cause It Rocks!!!

    It's Ok

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Oct 1, 2001

Now, I've liked Dave Matthews Band for a couple years because of their unique sound and their amazing solos of instruments you don't usually hear in rock (aka violin and sax). But in this album it seems that Dave is taking over the songs, and they're starting to sound like every other one hit wonder. The album was ok, but I thought their other albums were much better.

    They "did it" alright

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Sep 19, 2001

I'm convinced, Dave Matthews Band can't put out a bad album. This album really has its own unique sound that makes it that much better. When I first heard the album it wasn't quite what I expected, but after listening to it a couple of times it quickly became as good or better than the other albums. This album is a must own for DMB fans.

People should listen to DMB EVERYDAY

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Sep 13, 2001

The songs talk of painful relationships, dreaming of father, and a magic mushroom cloud. With all the variety in the lyrics,it is still the Dave Matthews Band sound we know and love.
My personal favorite song is "The Space Between",which is a song about THE person you can't live with, but also can't live without, and how love will overlook any flaws in a relationship.Dave himself doesn't seem to feel this way about his wife. They are the proud parents of newborn twins.
