This is an excellent introduction to several artists of the Latter-day Saint faith who are as different in musical style as night and day. The songs selected are all compatible for a summer listening collection. All the songs are gleaned from eight albums released by Shadow Mountain and they're all a great introduction to the respective artists. The listener needs to keep in mind, however, that the music isn't strictly gospel in genre. The artists' usual styles run the range from pop/rock through to inspirational and touches on just about everything in between. But if you're wondering how the different artists compare this is a great album to start with. Besides all the songs being fun and upbeat the whole collection has sound production values and the lyrics fall squarely in the uplifting arena.
