While tracks like Full House' "Scratchin'" or Absolom's 2001 hit "Stars" feature more a trance influence in their addled keyboard sound, Euro Dance is almost strictly about the HiNRG and euro dance grooves. It's dominated by female voices singing simple hooks quite meaningfully over triumphant synthesizers; in the background, electronic percussion rattles and crescendos, periodically dropping into the fouronthefloor rhythm common in laserbeam dance clubs the world over. Highlights include La Luna's "Here I Am", Neo Cortex' "Elements", Mondano's perfectly mindless "Feelin' Good" which switches things up with a male lead vocal and Scoopex' "Forever", which deserves mention for its use of chimes and a tinny, eardrumsplitting keyboard tone. Dig the Euros represented graphically in the corners.
