Optima uses a 12-amp motor for deep cleaning your carpets like a full size upright, but weighs just 11 lbs. It also has an on/off brushroll for cleaning bare floors and on-board tools and a no-tip design for above the floor cleaning. The easy-empty dust cup has the same dust capacity as a full size upright and was designed so you don't touch the filter when emptying the cup.

    Pros: Lightweight, small, lots of sucking power, roller can be turned off for hard floor cleaning

    Cons: Minimal attachments, filter gets dirty fast

    I was looking for a new vacuum and found alot of people that purchased this vacuum loved it. I figured for 60 bucks, it can't hurt to try it. Let me tell you, this is the most powerful vacuum I have ever used in my life. The amount of dirt it pul...ls out of the carpet is amazing. The feature that I love on this machine is that you can turn off the roller when vacuuming hard floors. I'm kean on cleaning the filter, but that is my only gripe with this product. The price is so low you can buy 2 for your house! Read more Less

    Pros: Powerful suction, light weight, turn carpet beaters on/off independent of suction

    Cons: power cord length

    Was looking for a vacuum that I could use on both my hard wood floors and carpet and this fit the bill. You can turn the carpet beaters on and off independently of the suction which is just what I needed. The suction was much stronger than I anticipa...ted for a vacuum of this size and weight. It's perfect for stairs...you can carry it easily. The retractable handle is also a plus for stairs. Only drawback is the cord length. I have to move move to a new outlet more than I'd like. The filter clogs quickly too. But I have a cat which is most of the clogs. Even so it's easy to clean the filter. No pet, no problem. Read more Less
