    Esta Vez (This Time) was produced in Miami between November 2000 and March 2001 by the Grammy-winning Estéfano and René Toledo. This 12-track album opens with the Latin pop, mid-tempo "Esta Vez," followed by a romantic ballad called "Sin Ti Todo Anda Mal," and the flamenco-inflected "Ven a Pervertirme." It gets intimate with "Como Cada Noche," "A Través de la Distancia," and "Me Quedó Grande Tu Amor," ending with a pop/rock song titled "Te Amaré, Te Odiaré." Malú (born María Lucía Sánchez) delivers a sentimental and passionate record.

Malú

Niece of talented flamenco guitarist Paco de Lucía, Latin pop singer Malú made her debut with the release of 1998's Aprendiz, featuring Alejandro Sanz' "Donde Quiera Que Estes," "Antes Que Amantes, Amigos," and "Aprendiz."
