R1800 problems
Pros: Nice quality prints
Cons: feeding jams, does not do what marketing says
Do not believe it when it says, can print 13x44" panoramas, or any kind of panorama or print longer than super B, 19". I called support 5 times, they hung up on me twice (must be the bad connection to the Phillipines) but they had my number and didn't call back. They put me on hold for long periods and still couldn't give me any info that wasn't the boilerplate found online or FAQ.
Also, 1 in 5 attempts at loading the roll paper was successful. It helps if you use voodoo.
I give up. It's too bad, because Epson used to stand by its products and now they seem to have joined the throngs of companies using methods (including offshore tech reps) that make it easy not to be accountable.

Pros: Great Color prints when it works
Cons: Freezes up. Printer will not recognize print media
I bought it three months ago from local dealer. Great for first month and half. One day froze. Printer would not recognize selected print media. Called Epson tech three times.
First tech said she 'had one and it worked fine.' Finally got some email instructions for Epson. Did not help. I had to pay shipping charges.Printer was returned through dealer.Epson did not say what they fixed. Same printer just returned and same problem. It will only print after it jams, turn it off, turn it back on and try again. It might print. Any body have any suggestions?Was this review helpful? Yes - Nor1800
Pros: Resolution, print range, its quiet, and great color
Cons: Its Big
Just took it out of the box and printed a 13x19 glossy - handheld, D2H. 2.8, AF-S, 28mm nom, jpeg.
It shows 1/16" dia branches 160' away against fresh snow backdrop.
