Pros: Very fun game

Enter The Matrix is a very fun game. The controls are simple enough so beginners can play, but are challenging enough so that advanced gamers can pull off some very cool moves. The graphics are excellent, as is the sound. Overall, Enter The Matrix is an excellent game.

Great game. The game has great graphics and is really fun. The slow down effects are really fun when jumping between buildings.
Only bad things are the shoot controls, its a bit short and what happened to neo?

I must warn you, this game got an extra star because I love the source material. However, if it was NOT the Matrix, this game would be in bargain bins by now. There is NO EXCUSE why the graphics look so dull, and the damn sewer levels are long, tedious, boring and extremely similar. The enviroments also look like ass and for the majority are uninteractive. The control is responsive, but I can only jump off a wall the SAME EXACT WAY so many times.... It needed better animation, better graphics, better control (more like Halo or Mechassault) and that guy you save from the plane with the shades acts like ass, where did they find this loser? Oh yeah, one more thing: Does anyone else feel like listening to "I wear my sunglasses at night" like I do when they play this game?

In short, Enter the Matrix has plenty of bark but really no bite. Confusing and unconfigurable controls (including the weirdest use of the right thumbstick ever) are just an example of how Atari slapped this game together counting on the movie license to sell it. Uninspired and confusing levels that all look very drab, often unclear goals, and repetetive gameplay make this one to rent before you buy. The cinematic cutscenes are kinda fun, but despite being shot by the Warchowski brothers during movie production, they still have that "Sega CD" cutscene feel to them. You're better off spending your money on Max Payne (only $20) or the Animatrix DVD.

Sorry all you Matrix fanatics out there, but there are tons of flaws with this game. First of all, the lighting is very frustrating. In many levels, particularly in the Sewers, you have no idea what is going on. The graphics in the game are impressive, but the non-filmed cut scenes feel very fake. Also, all the driving levels are atrocious. The graphics and the controls in those feel a couple years outdated. All in all, this game could have been great, but was too rushed to be released when the movie was.

This game was quite impressive, But i would some times have problems with it freezing on me. the game itself is great. In my opinion the better of the two charectors that you get to play was Ghost. The story line between the two of them was basically the same except for maybe on or two levels.

This has to be one of the best video games I think I have owned. The graphics are awsome, and the fight scenes are so smooth like the fight is really happening and not choppy like in other video games. I would HIGHLY recomend it!

I enjoyed this game for the most part. The graphics are not the best on the PS2 but decent. I really enjoy how it was put together but the only bad thing was that the game would freeze up on me when i hit a certain level, this was on the PS2. Other than that it was pretty good.
