    this album made henry rollins known to the masses and the public. its one of his most challenging work to date. some people maybe turn off to this record because its pretty long, over 70 minutes but every song is exceptional. lyrics are great and the... band was making some of the most intense music. this album is priceless Read more Less

    By far the best Rollins album ever. It's hard to believe this album was released 10 years ago, but it still rocks, eh!Tracks like Tearin', Low Self Opinion Man and You Didn't Need are my favorites, and if you wanna know more about Henry Rollins, it's... the best album to start with.     Henry the Great

    I don't know what to say but I am going to make a fan page site for Henry Rollins. He really is Henry the Great. His lyrics are so powerful and his energy and powerful voice are really waht Henry is about. I listened to his song "Low Self-Opinion" an...d I got addicted to it and so deep into it that I am studying in my own way to see the story of the song. The whole album "End of Silence" is great. I will buy it on CD pretty soon because I have it on tape and the quality isn't good at all. I want to buy all his albums and will read the article on him in Entertainment Weekly, which has him on the cover. To those who have not eard Henry Rollins, buy the album "The End Of Silence" by Rollins Band -even if it is just for the first song "Low Self-Opinion" because it'll let you know who you reallyare inside and outside.     i love all of rollins' work dating back to the black flag days, but this is DEFINITELY the best of the best. every track is absolutely sick. nearly crapped my pants the first time i heard it.

    One of my favorite albums ever.

    I bought this album in 1993. It was the album that cemented my relationship with punk, hardcore and the aggressively undefineable. I don't know how many times this album brought me through tough times in my teenage life as my family fell apart. Even ...now, this album can work it's way into my life, if only as a reminder to never return to the behaviors and attitudes of my past (see "Low Self Opinion") or let others treat me badly. I don't worship this album or Hank the way that I used to but I can definitely call myself a fan. Read more Less

    I just bought possibly the best album of the 90's. I turned myself onto Rollins Band about 6 months ago. I wasn't expecting anything stellar with End Of Silence, but this... is a juggernut. Truly unbelievable... and almost nobody knows about it... w...hich makes it even better. Read more Less

    Truly one of the greatest album in the 80's. Powerful and unique lyrics, strong jazz/hardcore/blues musical variations. Listen to Obscene, Just Like You and Blues Jam, it'll show you how fragile we are...
