Having repurchased SD after trying out this product for almost a year I cant speak highly enough about the ease that it sits on my computer relieving all my worries about invasions of one kind or another and always but always outperforming the rest!
Looking through all the reviews (some 84 web pages most of which is for old versions) I cannot understand why some people are having problems with this excellent software?
My guess is that the problem lies "in house" with their own practices with attempting to run SD but with many other antispy/antivirus programs still active!(even though they will say different) Everyone should know by now that one cannot mix antivirus or even antispy in my opinion as the seperation is becomming more and more blurred these days. SD is then required to clean up all the mess and invasions that have not been detected by other software before hand!
Also too I have found that over zelous use of free or pay once registry cleaners (such as ccleaner)can effect many programs by removing important files which causes slow downs and other problems when impacting with SD or other good quality antispy/antivirus software. To solve this I would advise to install pctools registry mechanic also
