Charlotte Church is a great voice
A Musical Perfection!
From the sweet simple Hush Bye Bye to the incredibly entertaining Laughing Song, from the haughty Habanera to the haunting Papa Can You hear Me - the music lingers on, touching you even after the last has note faded...
Charlotte is amazing! She is the major voice to emerge in the last five years. I have never heard a more beautiful interpretation of the FLOWER DUET! The duet THE PRAYER is magnificent and one of the finest pairings of talent I can ever remember. She must do more duets in the future, similar to the Jeanette McDonald and Nelson Eddy duets of old.
This is a good album and her voice just like an angel. If you listen to her songs, you'll love her and melt with her music.
Charlotte Church has the most gorgiuos voice I've ever heard. Boy, I wish I was 15 years old again..
I think that Charlotte Church is totally amazing! I used to be only fans of pop music or rock. But after hearing her sing live on TV. I ran to grabbed her album immediately the day after that. She has a great voice!
Im not even a fan of opers music, but i saw Charlotte on a tv show and her voice blew me away. to be that young and have that voice in unbelievable. this is an awsome cd. plus shes a babe
Forget Britney or Christina!!! Charlotte Church truly has a voice of an angel. I think she has the most beautiful voice that I ever heard. The songs she sings has a good flavor and they have caught my enthusiasm. So recommend the album to any music fans.
The beautiful and talented singer has done it again. There are more challenging works on this CD, and she shows why she'll be around longer than most of the pop acts. She has style and grace and shows it here. This new CD shows even more range, including a rendition of a classic swing song. Miss Church also does a duet on this CD. If you are a fan of classical or opera, you must buy this CD.
5 star looks, 0 star singing ability!!!
With the cheap crap today, Britney Spears (Yuk, Back Street Boys (BORING), NYsync stink!!! and Destiny's Child (BOOOOORRRING!!!!) BOYZ to MEN (BOOOOORRRRING!!!!) HIP HOP Music (BOOOOOOORRRRRRRINGG!!!!) There is Charlotte, an unbelievable talent. She has the voice of an Angel, you hear God through her. I am not religious and I could give a hoot about Jesus, but when Charlotte sings, the words don't matter, the voice does. She could sing about farting and throwing up and it would sound great. Charlotte is one of the future great ones. Mozart and Beethoven were alive, they would written operas and symphonies just to suit her voice. That's is how great Charlotte is. Also, Charlotte is beautiful, naturally beautiful. She does not give into the cheap rock & roll look, like ugly face Britney Spears. Charlotte is simple and sophisticated. Charlotte you need to sing Lloyd Weber's Phantom of the Opera as Christina, you are perfect for that. As for Britney, go get married.
Oh man, the voice is awesome, and on TV comercial she looks to hot, the way better than Britney....but why is she so ugly on the photos?
Or look doesn't matter in showbusiness anymore?
This is basically the same kind of cd she first released, she hasn't changed her style or diversity. Example, look at sarah brightman, each album she makes is totally different than then other, sarah is a true artist. Charlot, heres an advice, sing the kind of music you like and change your style, or elso next year many will forget who charlot church is.
This is amazing how the album sounds. I was able to get a copy 3 days ahead of its release, and I already have two copies of it. (I got the one they were selling at Target with the two bonus tracks on it). Charlotte's voice is very clear and pristine, and possesses a lot of soul on this one. She's growing up to be a great singer...actually, more of a stylist than just a singer.
The album is also the best sounding album out of her albums from a technological point as well. The mix is very clear, and you can hear everything very evenly and cleanly. The other ones were either too quiet, or too loud. Dream a Dream was a bit too loud and too compressed for my tastes. But this album, the orchestra sounds more lifelike than on past releases.
Overall, good job to Charlotte, Keith Thomas, David Foster, Jesse Cook, and everyone involved with the album. Hope that the album becomes very successful, as it should be.
