This particular set follows on the heels of a similar project related to Schoolhouse Rock, but it turns out to be, actually, a lot better than might be expected. A variety of artists ranging from Gloria Estefan to Jimmy Buffett tackle various Sesame Street songs, with and without the assistance of the various members of the Muppet cast. The compilation is amusing, entertaining and a lot of fun, whether it's Estefan's exuberant take on "Mambo I, I, I," Steven Tyler's very loud cover of "I Love Trash" or Jimmy Buffett dueting with Kermit the Frog on "Caribbean Amphibian." A good one for the adults as well as the kids.
