Pros: Everything. Anne Hathaway and Hugh Dancy great

Cons: Fan club a little annoying

This movie was fantastic. My daughters loved it and so did I. It reminded me so much of The Princess Bride which is another of my favorites. It's not like the book and in some ways it is better. I hope a sequel will come and I urge all to buy.... Everyone in the family can enjoy it together. Read more Less

This a great great great story. When I read the book i couldn't put it down.The movie protrays the book so well.

Pros: The acting and music

Cons: There are none that I can think of

Another beautifully done anne hathaway movie she is truely a gift to acting. Also Hugh Dancy is incredible also. He protrays these roles very well. If you haven't seen him in Daniel Deronda, and the sleeping dictionary , then you better. Anne is ...truely fit for this role. She is both graceful and comedic. The story reminds me of the comedy fairytale romance the Princess bride. Which king edgar in this movie plays wesley. Check that out if you haven't seen it. I can't remember that actors name at the moment. It is truely a family film and fun for everyone. It is light-hearted and leaves you with a Happy-ending! Read more Less

A story about Ella of Frell who has been put under a spell of obedience by a fairy. When her mother dies, her father remarries and Ella is under constant torcher by her cruel stepsisters and stepmother. Her stepsister Hattie who finds out about her s...pell uses it whenever possible and always for her comfort. Ella cannot help obeying but will never give in. Hattie, the leader of the Prince char fan club who is madly in love with Prince char, however cannot stand it when Prince char falls in love with Ella . Though ella does not love Char in the beginning, invariably while on a journey to find her godmother, she does. However Prince char's evil uncle who really wants to kill him does not approve of the proposal. But finally when Ella is ordered to do the unthinkable, ella is left with no other option................fig
