Formed in Boston by vocalist/bassist Goolkasian, guitarist Garvey J. and a drummer named Fitts, the Elevator Drops marry catchy Bowie pop/rockers with thrashing indie-rock. After debuting with 1996's Pop Bus, the group temporarily set up shop in Detroit to record their sophomore album, 1997's People Mover.
