    Pros: Nice Features & Quet Operation

    Cons: Don't expect it to last very long

    I purchased my Electrolux Oxygen Upright @ 2 ½ years ago. The left wheel was squeaky when new and after a few months broke off. A local repair shop in Bellevue, NE, fixed the wheel, and it broke again after @ 1 month. I returned to the local repai...r shop with significant frustration because their “good” fix was very poor. After considerable discussion the repair guy called the regional rep for Electrolux and I received a replacement Oxygen 3 vacuum cleaner. Allegedly, the wheel problem was fixed in this revised model. Well, it wasn’t. The left wheel on the new Oxygen 3 lasted @ 1 year, then it broke too. The internal wheel assembly was indeed a different looking piece of plastic. But, alas, it was still cheap plastic and in still broke. Yesterday, I attempted to obtain a repair or exchange for my defective Electrolux Oxygen 3 vacuum at the local Electrolux dealer in my new location, Maplewood, MN, but the local Electrolux dealer was completely unwilling to stand-behind the Electrolux product I purchased a few years ago. However, the local dealer was kind enough to throw my Oxygen 3 in their garbage can. Summary - Electrolux has become a cheap consumer grade product having profoundly poor quality. My Oxygen 3 was the poorest quality appliance I have ever purchased. My Wal-Mart electronic kids toys last longer and are more durable – and I have 3 young boys. Read more Less
