El Tigre Enmascarado (1951)

A classic Mexican singing western, LE TIGRE ENMASCARADO stars rancheras (Mexican country music) singer and actor Luis Aguilar and vocalist Flor Silvestre. Aguilar plays a young man studying opera in Mexico City and relying on what little cash his brother, a priest, can send him. Unfortunately, the courier has been stealing much of it, forcing Luis into performing at dingy clubs. When he learns that his brother has been murdered, Luis gains new purpose and returns to his hometown as the Zorro-like avenger The Masked Tiger. LE TIGRE ENMASCARADO combines traditional Mexican music with western-style adventure.
