Synopsis: Edge of Seventeen (1999)

The tale of a high school student in the small town of Sandusky, Ohio circa 1984 (a year when '80s pop-culture was in it's prime) who comes to terms with his homosexuality much to the astonishment of his long-time girlfriend.     I've rented/purchased several gay themed movies, and this one really surprised me. It was done in a superbly charming and innocent way. The actors, especially the lead, were outstanding. I worked at Cedar Point two years after this story was supposed... to have taken place and I remember so much of what it was like for me at that young age. The portrayal of gay life at that age in that place was perfect. I wanted more! Read more Less
