Latin dancer/choreographer Eddie Torres was raised in New York's Spanish Harlem, in the bosom of a Puerto Rican family. At a young age, Torres, seduced by Latin rhythms, wanted to learn how to dance. The enthusiastic teenager fulfilled his ambition while getting into the nightclub scene. Through the years his dancing skills allowed him to start teaching and even work along with Tito Puente.
