A Canadian fingerpicking guitar player who was born in Scotland, Eddie Douglas became interested in writing material for children after becoming an elementary school teacher. Setting his favorite children's poems to his own music, Douglas released his first album, Alligator Ice Cream Jelly Delight in 2002.
