    All in all a good little trimmer

    Pros: Easy to start, light weight, low vibration

    Cons: shaft could be longer, dual insert head

    Just finished my first full season with this trimmer. I believe this to be a very good product for the money. My only real complaint is the dual insert head. This type of head wasts a lot of line and is a nuisance to change inserts every 15 minutes. ...I will be looking for a tap advance head for it his fall. Good trimmer for light to medium grass but a straight shaft model should be used for the heavy stuff. Read more Less

    You cant beat Echo Trimmers!

    Pros: Lightweight, Easy Starting, Reliable, Dependable, Built Strong, Line always comes out

    Cons: None to date after 22 years!

    I have been using Echo, trimmers, blowers and chainsaws for over 22 years. I have had two trimmers over 22 years of heavy use. I used a top of the line echo for ~19 years when I sold it to a friend and bought the GT200R. I thought since I was droppin...g to a lower grade of Echo it would not be as good. To my surprise this one has been better than my older model. I was concerned about the new plastic covers (previous models were metal). So far it has held up great and weighs much less then previous models. The automatic line feeder NEVER fails which amazes me. Every homeowner should own an Echo. Read more Less
