Eat My Trivia

Object of the Game: The object of the game is to correctly answer trivia questions about the world of gastronomy. The winner is the first person or team to accumulate 15 points (Fast Food version) or 25 points (Gourmet version) and to correctly guess the name of a classic recipe. Contents: Included are 250 purple trivia cards, containing 6 questions each, 50 yellow recipe cards, one die, a cherry tree score pad and a pencil. The questions are valued as follows: Straight Answer Question: 3 cherries. Multiple-Choice Question: 2 cherries. Two-Choice Question: 1 cherry. True/False Question: 1 cherry. Gameplay: The game can be played by two people or by two teams of multiple people. The player (or team) with the highest roll of the die goes first. Let's assume that Player One gets to go first. Player One must roll the die to determine which question on the trivia card will be read. Player Two must read the selected question out loud to Player One. If Player One answers the question correctly, they win the cherry(ies) shown next to the answer, and advance on the cherry tree. Explanations offered in brackets shown next to the correct answer are not required to be answered by the Player. Players must alternate their turns. Once a card has been used, it should be returned to the back of the box. Final Challenge: Once a Player has reached a minimum score of 15 or 25 points they move to the recipe challenge. In this round the Player has to guess the correct name of a classic recipe. If the recipe name is guessed correctly, the Player wins the game; if not, the Player loses their turn.
