The N.Y.C.-based percussion trio of Christine Bard, Michael Evans, and Jim Pugliese uses found objects and traditional instruments. They alter the instruments' sounds with lo-tech electronics to achieve processing effects that can be realized during live performance. ESP appears on Elliot Sharp's 1996 Atavistic release, State of the Union, and their own eclectic, impressive self-titled CD, released by Avant in 1997.
