EA Lands Of Lore III PC Game

The third installment of the Westwood Studios Lands of Lore series ventures into new territory with 3Dfx support and builds on the story line of its predecessors. In Lands of Lore III, the Draracle's departure from the mortal world has caused an unfortunate rip in reality and opened up five portals throughout the land. In a quest to prove your worthiness of the Gladstone Crown, your character, Copper LeGré, must enter these five rifts armed with only a sword and spellbook and defeat the evil minions threatening destruction of the kingdom. In doing so, you hope to exonerate your reputation and reverse public perception that blames you for the murder of your father and brothers.

Lands of Lore III contains more than sixty weapons and over a hundred magic items. A unique character builder based on actions taken within the game world molds the strengths and weaknesses of your character. Also in the mix are four Guilds, each with specific skill enhancers, that provide opportunity for increases in character abilities and attributes. As you journey through the lands on your kingdom-saving mission, you can select one of four unique Familiars who offer their varied services by accompanying you during your quest.

The interface is intuitive point-and-click and provides easy access to weapons, items and magic spells with keyboard hotkeys supported. An in-game journal keeps track automatically of nearly every aspect of your quest ranging from conversations to maps and inventory.
