Even though the versions featured on Drew's Famous Mother Groom's Dance aren't the original versions and are in fact cheap covers, this is still a fun album nonetheless. There seems to be one or two songs here for everyone everything from Guns N' Roses' "Sweet Child O'Mine" and the Beatles' "In My Life" for the rock roll moms out there, to Stevie Wonder's "You Are the Sunshine of My Life" and the Intruders' "I'll Always Love My Mama" for the soul moms. Such an eclectic selection no doubt means that no one's going to like everything here, but it's still a fun mix and makes you listen to these classics in a new context. Everything's performed by the Hit Crew, best known for their myriad other cheap, gimmicky coversong collections in the Drew's Famous series.
