My favourite Kate album and it still gets me after all these years!!! It's NOT over produced and it's NOT that inacessible!!!! She's incredibly talented and a genius!!! It's a brave album and thank God she didn't quit in the middle of it's very hard production because the world should be grateful that someone that intelligent made such great records!!!

Kate's sits in the production seat on this one and lets it loose. This album was wildly ahead of its time upon original release and consequently misunderstood by critics and listeners that pigeonholed Kate as a pop star. For fans like me, however, this album is Kate at her experimental best. It rewards repeated listenings.

Overdone, inaccesible and hasn't improved with age. A triumph of production over substance and the low point of an otherwise distinguished career.

Kate's best album ever! It's slightly overproduced, but that doesn`t matter at all! She explores the possibilities of her voice and her Fairlight. The result is astonishing! The lyrics are good as ever and there are no weak songs to find! Buy it and listen for yourself!
