Great Movie!
Pros: loved the music, singing...
Cons: ending left you wanting more
I absolutely loved this movie. The songs, the storyline was all terrific. Kudos to Jennifer Hudson and all of the other cast members. However, I wish the story would have been carried out a little further after Curtis (Jamie Foxx) found out about he and Effie's (Jennifer Hudson) daughter. Other than that, it was great!

I really rate this movie very high because it was a great movie from the story line to every person who starred and acted in it. I have seen over 5 times and I am going to watch it again after I finish my review. I thought that it was very touching when Curtis later learned that he has a daughter towards the end and i was thinking would that be an opening for a sequel DreamGirls 2/Magic the daugher of Curtis and Effie. That's just my thought. It would be interesting.
