Cons: In the 80's, Hollywood churned out many flops like this

In the 1980's, America was going through some growing pains, after the wreckage caused by the 60's and 70's, Americans didn't know what they should do with themselves. And for American youths, it was worse.Hollywood was trying its bes...t to recognize what the young was doing and how they lived, unfortunately they didn't look any further than the 'valley' in California. The young didn't have proper role-models, and so looked to whatever Hollywood threw up on the silver screen. And just like mud, some of it stuck.They tried to show an old man's soul in the body of a young teenager - one just couldn't buy it. For such a young man to show a maturity greater than his years, it didn't work. A far better work of acting came from Tom Hanks in the movie "Big", showing its easier to fall back than to spring ahead."Dream a Little Dream" is only for those who look back at the 80's with rose colored glasses. For those of us who actually lived through them, its a time better left to the shoebox in the back of the closet. Yeah, we lived throught them, goodbye, on to the 90's. Read more Less
