Synopsis: Dragon's Lair 2: Time Warp (1999)
Synopis: In this follow-up to the 1983 groundbreaking video game DRAGON'S LAIR, players can participate in the more complex DRAGON'S LAIR 2: TIME WARP, a Don Bluth interactive animated film, using a DVD remote or PC. In TIME WARP, Princess Daphne must be saved from the clutches of the evil wizard Mordoc, who has kidnapped her and hidden her in a wrinkle in time. The film-game combo has even more sensational--and more varied--animation than its predecessor and is packed with lots of dialogue and humorous bits referencing many Disney movies. Viewers may play the game or just watch the tale unfold as an imaginative short film.Features: Dragon's Lair 2: Time Warp (1999)

Now using the directional arrows and the enter button on your DVD remote, you can play your way through this Laserdisc Video Game classic.
Everything this DVD offers is true to the Arcade experience except for one flaw. Between every (and I mean EVERY) decision point in the game, there is a very slight pause that will occur. (Which makes speech and background music choppy)
But being a Hard-Core Dragon's Lair lover, I can overlook this slight mis-hap. Another very-minor flaw is that you do NOT have to collect all of the hidden objects throughout the game to play the final stage. (As you have to do in the Video Game)
But everything else is flawless. Graphics and sound are arcade-perfect (except for the pauses) and if you prefer to watch the animation all the way through (w/no pauses!) you can play it in a 'movie' mode setting, where you just sit back and watch the game play... 'itself'.
I haven't tried Dragon's Lair or Space Ace yet, but I am guessing they are plagued by the same 'pausing' problem, but besides this, are perfect. (I'm off to find copies of these games right now!)
