    Pros: Very mellodic,and gothic

    Cons: No cons

This could be my favorite album ever. Most of the stuff I listen to is much more heavy than this, but this album in whole is absolutly perfect.Right there in my top 5 with Vulgar Display,Reign in Blood, La Sexorcisto, and Puritanical

Only "Icon" is better than this

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Jan 25, 2001

Paradise lost's other masterpiece. It's more melodic and less powerful than "Icon" but It is simply perfect.

this album is about average ... while it has some really kick-ass songs in Enchantment and Jaded <tracks 1 and 12>, the album is filled with some fill songs that just couldn't ... i like the sound of the album none-the-less ...

    In a word - epic

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Dec 13, 1999

If you like Type O Negative and Metallica, this is probably for you! Very epic and gothic sounding. Almost has a medieval vibe to it, but it's not cheesy in the least. EVERY song on this album is good, and Nick Holmes has a VERY cool voice!

    Masters of misery

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Nov 30, 1999

This album is pure black magic. The guitar sound is excellent, the vocals have a deep, depressive edge which complements the lyrics beautifully.Single "Forever Failure" is a great track, opening with a Charles Manson sample, it's pure despair is hear...t-wrenching. "Once Solemn" is a great up-tempo track, constantly driving forward with a great verse riff.Gregor Mackintosh has come up with some great lead riffs for this one, with the perfect tone. This is the best gothic metal album available.
