    Pros: Great LP

    Cons: Not available on CD

    "Sun Goddess" was OK, but this follow up is superb. Why this is still not available on CD is beyond me. If and when it does, I will be one happy camper.

    My first introduction to Ramsey Lewis was his album ‘Don’t It Feel Good.’ Dubbed ‘funky jazz’ it leans more towards early electronic pop music. Call it what you will, each track is charged with great instrumentals and vocals. The lyrics are quit...e good as well. I appreciated the album because I found it to be uplifting and mood altering. I have explored other albums by Ramsey Lewis, but I have always come back to this album. It has taken way too long for it to be released on CD. Trip back to the best of the ‘70s and enjoy the funky electronic music that is romantic and soothing that kind of makes you feel good. It is a story within a story. Read more Less

    Pros: An album ahead of it's time

    Cons: Departure from his usual stuff at the time

    I wasn't aware of Ramsey Lewis, prior to his Sun Goddess album. I was however, a huge Earth, Wind & Fire fan and thought working with them, provided Ramsey with a new outlook on his music and "Don't It Feel Good" was born. I'...;ve since bought numerous CD's by Ramsey and as much as I like them, they still aren't as good as "Don't It Feel Good". If you had to descibe the sound of this album.... I'd call it Funky Jazz, which is something you didn't hear much of back in 1975. Looking back, I'd have to say this album was way ahead of it's time. Read more Less

    Cons: None

    A very Differnt Colecction of song by a Master of Jazz Ramsey went left with this album
    with songs like " FISH BITE" but it is a great album a must check it out.
    " SPIDERMAM"
