don't Say A Word is a really good film but I don't think it's as entertaining as, Sugar Cane, a Jamaican novel I read while in Jamaica recently. Ask for it in bookstores and give it a read. It's well worth it. You can aslo call 1-876-938-0005 to obtain you very own copy of this other contemporary classic.

This movie actually surprised in a positive way. It was full of action for most part. Douglas is aging but still is a good actor.

Michael Douglas has made some excellent thrillers, but I wasn't expecting this one to be on the level of some of his earlier films. But I have to admit, I loved this film. I totally got sucked into the story, and enjoyed this film more than I thought I would. Excellent!

Going into this movie I was set for some very good acting, dramatic plot, and tense scenes. Well 2 out of 3 ain't bad. The plot gets weak in the middle and some of the stronger characters seem to get washed out and are just there to fill it out.
I thought that Douglas did his usual good job, Famke Jannsen was very good for what she had to work with. It is tough to see her as the housewife and mother in this movie after seeing her in others as the hottie (X-Men), oh well. Espisito can really be a good up and comer and I really liked her on Spin City, can she make the leap? From this movie I think it is possible.
The director does a great job of putting you in the atmosphere the characters are faced with, at the psyche ward for example. Great use of lighting and scenery.
Murphy does a good job for the most part for what shallow a character she has to work with when you get down to it. Some of her early scenes were hokey with Douglas and that bothered me throughout, but I like her and she will always be the "rollin' with the homies" girl from Clueless so that is added points. This was a good movie, not a must see by any means. Liked the story but it could have been much better.Was this review helpful? Yes - Noworth a watch
Micheal Douglas is amazing in any role. This movie had wonderful performances, but the plot left a dry spot. True it was original, but they left a lot of things unexplained. I would see this movie for the performances of Douglas and Murphy. I would say this is a rent movie rather than an own movie, because one time is enough.
