Lyricist Don George is best-known for his collaboration with jazz icon Duke Ellington. Their most-celebrated effort is the standard "I'm Beginning to See the Light," written in tandem with Johnny Hodges and Harry James; George and Ellington also teamed for songs including "I Ain't Got Nothing but the Blues" and "Everything but You."
