Synopsis: Dolemite (1975)

Synopis: Legendary comedian and rap forefather Rudy Ray Moore turns in a dynamic and hilarious performance as the meanest, rhyme-spouting mack of them all in this revered underground spoof of 70s blaxploitation flicks. After being framed by some evil white cops, Dolemite emerges from the slammer ready for revenge with his old friends (including Queen Bee and her loyal pleasure girls) rallied behind him. But this is no NAKED GUN style send-up- it's played straight, which is why it's stood the test of time. Followed by THE HUMAN TORNADO (aka DOLEMITE 2).

   I'm the biggest Dolemite fanatic now - this is a movie obviously self-serving and the lines will slay you. There are jokes - and I think the movie was written as a comedy - but the funny parts come in to play with the bad acting and spotting of the boom mic. A must-see for any cinema fan!

   I ordered this movie from wc3cd, but they later informed me this movie was not available. No reason was given why they accepted my order and couldn't fill it.
