Pro Reviews: Disfrutelo Hasta El Cabo

  • All Music Guide

This superior Gran Combo recording continues to establish Puerto Rico's number one musical institution with plenty of great material to spare; tunes like "El Son de Santurce" (composed by Ernesto Vigoreaux) and "La Salsa de Hoy" (by Roberto Angleró) are main staples in the band's growing discography. Vocalists Andy Montañez and Charlie Aponte excel as usual, and el Gran Combo's pleasing sound makes the band fun to dance to. A must for salsa fans.
