    Cons: piece of crap

    Used it once, the beater bar quit and so the vacuum hardly picks up anything. Didn't keep the receipt, so couldn't take it back......worthless....bu
    y something else!!!!

    Pros: Long power cord; picks up well; detachable nozzle.

    Cons: Short hose when nozzle is detached.

    I have had no problems with this product and like it very well. The only con for me is when the nozzle is detached (a fantastic feature by the way) the hose doesn't stretch much but I simply carry the canister around which is very light and has a handle. I love it for my stairs!

    Don't waste your money on this!

    Cons: Brush doesn't work properly

    The brush is air driven so that when you place it on the carpet it stops spinning. I was told by the manufacturer that I shouldn't place the vac. directly on the carpet that there should be a gap between the vac. and the carpet!! This vacuum is JUNK!

    This thing is a piece of junk. I used it one time and boxed it back up to take back to the store. The revolving brush stopped working after 5 minutes. Do Not buy this!! I'm sure you will be just as disappoointed as I was.

    Buy the Classic Instead

    Cons: The 'beater bar' doesn't.

    The quality of this vac is up to DD's reputation, but the performance of the alleged beater bar is non-existent. They would have done better by putting a real motor in the detatchable head, and running a power source alongside the stretch tube to run it.
    A far better vac is the Classic. It performs extremely well, and will not disappoint you.

    How can they be serious? Did they even test this idea? As soon as you put it on carpet or upholstery, the airflow slows down and the brush stops spinning. Duhhh!!!! What idiots!

    Pros: 20 foot cord is nice

    I've used lots of reviews when buying items, but never written one until now. I feel this strongly about this. We bought this Dirt Devil Power Reach without checking first -- big mistake. This particular Dirt Devil was a big disappointment. The "turbo driven brushroller" doesn't work. Essentially the brush is driven by the air flow of the vacuum (suction driven). The vacuum has plenty of suction, but not enough to turn the brush when you actually try to use it on carpet or upholstery. As soon as you set it down, it stops spinning. You don't need to take my word for it, check out the other review sites as well.
