Thsi is one of the XCOOLEST movies Ive ever seen,forget all the people who say "The Plot is stolen" or just complain about it,WHO CARES?!?! It was a great movie,VERY Simple, it was very enjoyable and it had somet things that Disney doesnt do very often,Dinos eating Dinos isnt kids stuff but, hey, we all gotta grow up sometime,right? Yes I am. I cant imagine any age of people not enjoying this one,Im not in it for how original the plot is or what the characters look like,Im in it for the purew enjoyment of it, and so should evryone else

Let's start off with a good foot, Dinosaur is a visual masterpeice. There are multiple scenes where real-life and computer graphics blend in seamlessly. Ok, thats enough praising. The bad things include, poor character development, story jumps from scene to scene too quickly. And here's my personal touch on the movie, it's a total ripoff. If anyone has seen 'A Land Before Time', you know what I'm talking about. Dinosaur borrows too many ideas, concepts, and storyparts. Too much in fact, you mind as well call it stealing. I always thought Disney was a haven for inginuity, but this movie has gone too far. What's 'Land Before Time' like? I'll give you the jist of it.

- Main character is born
- Large earthquake occurs (Armeggeddon happens.)
- Main character is seperated from family
- Main character joins other dinosaurs
- Journey to the Promised Land begins. (Dinosaur Paradise that was not affected by armmeggdeon)
- Main character is attacked and terrorized by T-rex
- T-rex is killed
- after t-rex is killed, They find the Promised land and meet up with the rest of the dinosaurs.

Tell me this, how similar is this to the movie Dinosaur?? Its ridiculous. Finally, I feel that "A Land Before Time" outshines Dinosaur in EVERY way, other than graphics. I have nothing else to say.

CG Technology Worth Owning for Family Vi

State of the Art Computer generated special effects and a story a child could follow. Disney advances its technology and knows its audience. I understand that there were a lot of complaints about dinosaurs having "lips", and that the story wasn't new. Hey, as long as they didn't start rapping or singing the lips didn't bother me. The only other option was naration (kind of like Jimminy Cricket) but that would have proven tedious. Voices were excellent and matched in quality the CG effects. Well blended and smooth.

Great animation, boring story

The animation in this movie is incredible. It will no doubt be remembered as a true breakthough for computer animation. The story is the same old plot that Disney has been using as long as they have made films. There are some scenes of violence that might be disturbing to younger eyes (the movie involves dinosaurs, and some dinosaurs ate other dinosaurs). Your kids will like it, mine did.
