For me, the "Die Hard" trilogy is the benchmark that all other action movies should have to go by. In a time where fancy gunplay was all you needed to have a great action movie, "Die Hard" was way ahead of the pack. Bruce Willis and Alan Rickman were perfect shoe-ins for their roles. Hans Gruber, Rickman's character, is one of the scariest villains to date. The movie has probably some of the best special effects I've seen in movies of its genre. If you're looking for a great action flick, look no further. ...
